Ronald Schmidt, CMA, CFM: Ronald Schmidt is the El Centro College Accounting and Economics Program Director. He currently teaches managerial and financial accounting, provides leadership to the various programs faculty, as well as development of the accounting program at El Centro. Professor Schmidt has previously taught at University of Dallas Graduate School of Management, University of Dallas Braniff College of Business, and Brookhaven College. Ronald Schmidt has over twenty years of industry experience, holds both the CMA and CFM certifications and has prior postings to include Controller, CFO, VP Finance, and Operations Manager for the manufacturing and hospitality related sectors. He founded Strategic CFO Solutions in 2004, which provides a full range of accounting and financial management consulting services. Ronald currently also coordinates and leads the DFW IMA/Gleim CMA Professor-Led course, which provides a lecture format CMA prep course to students. He holds an MBA in Corporate Finance, an MS in Accounting and a BBA in Finance. Creighton Bowsher, CMA, CFE: Creighton Bowsher is currently working as a Consultant for a defense contractor focusing on issues such as forensic accounting and contracts. He is also an adjunct faculty member for the University of Phoenix and Dallas County Community College. Creighton has worked in Government Contracting in various roles for almost fifteen years to include Project Management and Project Analyst. Creighton Bowsher is a Certified Management Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner with an MBA in Corporate Finance from Southern Methodist University. |
